Account Executives
Arlene Schiffer,
President of PNM, began her career in destination management and conference
planning more than 25 years ago, planning attorney retreats and client conferences. Having worked for
another DMC in Santa Fe, and wanting to provide clients with higher levels of service, professionalism
and creativity, Arlene opened PNM in January 1996. Since its inception, PNM has set the standard in
Northern New Mexico for quality, attention to detail and originality. A former professional actress and
singer, Arlene combines her talents, expertise, and theatrical perspective with her love of New Mexico
to create interesting, unusual, and memorable events and experiences for groups visiting New Mexico.
Cheryl Donovan-Wildes,
Account Executive, is a native New Mexican, and was a full-charge
bookkeeper for 20+ years. In 1997 she decided to leave "the world of numbers" and pursue a broader,
creative, and people-oriented work environment. She joined PNM in the latter part of 1997 as a
part-time escort/hostess. In January 1998, she was promoted to full-time Account Executive, and has
successfully combined her mastery of detail with her creative talents to become adept at program
development and implementation. Cheryl says that she has finally found a job that isn't work, and which
enables her to add her personal touch to all she does.
Jennifer White,
Account Executive, joins PNM after three years with Destination Mexico, one of the
most prestigious destination management companies in Mexico City. Jennifer hails from Denver,
Colorado, is bilingual, and has extensive experience in creating programs and itineraries for
international and domestic incentive groups, including VIP services and all aspects of event planning.
Like Arlene, Jennifer has a background in theater and television, and incorporates her creativity and
experience into developing custom programs and adding to the superior level of service our clients have
come to expect
Staff and Vendors
PNM associate and host staffs are comprised of experienced, seasoned professionals who often have set
the performance standards for others in the industry. Every PNM staff member assigned to a program is
fully versed in the program, and is ready and willing to be of assistance to group members.
We work with only those transportation companies that maintain all the appropriate insurances and
maintenance/safety programs required by the State. Each transportation company with which PNM
works is required to provide an annual certificate of insurance, as well as a copy of its substance abuse
screening policy and procedures.
On the production side, PNM works with professional entertainers and often their managers, with stage
and lighting designers who have worked throughout the world, and with reputable companies to provide
tenting and other rental equipment. Our decor professionals range from a former Broadway set designer
to manufacturers of specialty decor items.
Our catering companies are required to have state-issued liquor licenses, and bartenders and cocktail
staff are "licensed liquor dispensers." Our caterers are innovative in their menu development, creative
in their presentation and display, and professional in demeanor. All of our caterers have extensive
experience in the food and beverage industry, and can prepare anything from the simplest box lunch to
the most lavish gourmet feast for groups as small as eight and as large as 2000+.
Our guide staff are all members of the New Mexico Guides' Association. Their experience is vast, and
their knowledge even greater. From diverse backgrounds, these resident historians present the history
and culture of Northern New Mexico in entertaining ways that keep the group members enthralled.
Fine-arts guides, many of whom are members of the Santa Fe Art Guild and some of whom are gallery
directors, share the Santa Fe art scene in all its color and romance.
